May users will be familiar with Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View in which every opinion is given equal weight. AtheistWiki, on the other hand, has an explicitly Atheist Point of View.

Main elements

  • Either God does not exist or there is no evidence god exists.
  • Religion is at worst toxic and at best unnecessary.
  • The Principle of NOMA is invalid and provides no cover for religious ideas.

Other issues

While references in articles will always be useful, users should feel free to insert original research and opinions which are in accordance with this point of view or which flow naturally from it. Other users may, of course, dispute such ideas and under such circumstances conflicts of opinion should be resolved on the appropriate talk pages.
